Handling Services provides on-site training and support for our cranes.
Operating a pendant or radio controlled crane takes skill and concentration. The safety of the operator and other co-workers depends on the ability of the operator to safely control the movement of loads they lift and move.
The operator of a pendant controlled crane should be trained and knowledgeable in:
- how the crane works.
- the crane’s limitations.
- the weight of the load being lifted.
- the area in which the crane is operating in.
- where co-workers are during a lift.
- potential hazards that could affect the operators safety.
We provide on-site training for individuals who will be operating the crane and to other employees who may train new workers operating the cranes. We have a Instructor who is certified to train operators and also furnish certification cards.
